Some shapes were tested and their s qualities aerodynamic or hydrodynamics are known .

Testing aerodynamic and hydrodynamic shapes as The sphere cone, cylinder, cube, ellipsoid, the rectangular plate, etc. .. have provided tables and formulas to calculateCd (drag coefficient to predict the strength of resistance form immersed in a fluid stream).

These tables and formulas allow us to evaluate the friction forces and turbulence that will be generated .. these data are available in the tab drag and lift of MECAFLUX and you only have to choose their form and size to assess the drag it generates.

The clever use of these forms can guess with relative accuracy, forces of friction or resistance force on object shaped.

The accuracy of this method is limited but it is sufficient to give useful information on the forces involved without embarking on a calculation 3D. With a reasonable safety factor, study is greatly simplified without losing its quality.
