Mecaflux is provided with all basics element's coefficients of pressure drop, but you can add some new element's coefficients if you know it.. .

The elements editor allow you to create your own's eléments with your own data collected in catalogs or other suppliers literature.

I'ts usefull when you regulary use some elements woh are not incudes in mecaflux.You can also send your dat to _contact@mecaflux.com_ if you want to add it to the next update of mecaflux.

Example of adding element in the editor of elements pressure loss:

If you know the drop of a unique accessory for your hydraulic system or aerodynamics, you can save it in your database based on different parameters of your accessory.

Example: you know the losses coefficient for a radiator versus the number of its tubes. To create this accessory and make it available in calculations of your networks, you have to enter:

• the name of the accessory: "RADIATOR"

• the parameter name variant: "Number of tubes" and
• The values for this parameter: 5 10 15 20 (sample values!)

• The loss coefficient for these parameters 0.8 1 1.2 1.5 (sample values!)

• You choose a representative picture of the item and you save.

• This element will be integrated with other elements available for the calculation of minor losses of elements
