elements Minor loss or pressure drop in a network

The pressure head loss are also called minor loss of loads .

These are pressure losses due to elements of the fluid network encountered on the path of the fluid.

The coefficient of pressure losses are given for these elements( valves , elbows, cones... )

Usely these data are provided by manufacturers of hydraulic accessories.

Some formulas used to calculate these coefficients, as the formula of Weisbach for elbows.

Elements of hydraulic system or air handling accessories are configurable in MECAFLUX(eg closing angle valve)

calculating their coefficient of friction losses is done automatically based on parameters you enter.

The pressure loss of the network elements is computed and added in the inventory of pressure losses.
