Power consumption, useful power, power restored

 

 

The useful power is applied to the fluid to meet the requirements of network throughput.

The ratio of useful power by the power consumption gives the yield of the pump.

  • if the power absorbed is measured at the shaft of the pump, power ratio of useful power/ power absorbed gives yield of pump without motor
  • if the power absorbed is measured by power consumption of your engine pump, the ratio of useful power by the power consumption gives you yield pump including engine performance.

This curve shows for a given pump, the flow obtained after the power absorbed

It can be seen for example with a power of approximately 175W
